• Since 2002, What A Pair! has produced star-studded Broadway-caliber musical performances with proceeds benefiting breast cancer research. The phrase "what a pair" symbolizes not only a woman's "girls," but a celebration of musical duets with incredibly talented women including Jamie Lee Curtis, Rita Wilson, Anne Heche, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Debbie Gibson, Jane Lynch, Deborah Harry, Megan Mullally and Lea Thompson, just to name a few.
• What A Pair! was co-founded by our very own original "house girl" and longtime S Instructor, Ruth Stalford!
• We'll be welcoming What A Pair's supporters into our LA studio! All LA and Encino women are encouraged to help us welcome them, dance with us, and raise donations for our sisters.
• Participants are encouraged to pledge $20, and collect additional donations from friend and family sponsors. All proceeds will go to What A Pair!
• Arrive at any time throughout the event to be assigned a team and receive a nametag. (You may request a team; we'll do our best to accommodate.) Each Team of 10 women will warm up with a 45-minute S Factor Workout based on your S Factor experience level. Then you will be brought into the main studio to dance non-stop in rotations for three songs.
• Women new to S Factor through Level 3 will learn and dance the S Factor Routine.
• Women in Levels 4 and up will be free dancing.
• Here's an approximate schedule:
  
  
  • 5:30pm - Team One participants arrive and register at Front Desk.
  • 6pm - Team One participants warm up with a 45-minute S Factor Workout in Studio B or C.
  • 6:45pm - Team Two participants arrive and register at Front Desk.
  • 7pm - Team One begins Dance-A-Thon in Studio A.
  • 7pm - Team Two participants warm up with a 45-minute S Factor Workout in Studio B or C.
  • 8pm - Team One takes a break, and Team Two enters the Dance-A-Thon in Studio A.
  • …and so on. We'll keep dancing…the last complete team still dancing will win a big prize! We may just throw in something for the runner-ups too!
