Individual Dances
The most precious aspect of S Factor is the individual dance. It is where students explore the connection to their own body while being witnessed lovingly by their teacher and classmates, while choosing their own music and clothing. The individual dance is where we come into the fullness of ourselves: fully seen, felt, and totally expressed. In this training, you’ll both experience the student journey of the individual dance, and learn what it takes to become the witness and guide.
Body Reading
Along with the individual dance comes teacher feedback. Students get a powerful reflection of how they were felt and what their body communicated. During this training program, you’ll get to experience the extraordinary power of body reading from skillful and loving teachers, and you will learn what it takes to provide this intuitive and somatic guidance to others in our Intermediate and Advanced trainings.

This summer, we invite you to learn how to teach S Factor and become an embodied, intuitive leader in feminine movement and self-transformation, while joining the global community of S Factor Licensed Teachers!
Taking place just once a year live online, this unique certification and licensing program teaches you how to hold a grounded presence, how to guide others through profound personal growth, and – most importantly – it provides a deep exploration of the foundations of the S Factor curriculum, movement practice, and philosophy. There isn’t anything else like it, and you can join us from anywhere in the world!

Commmitment
S Factor Teacher Training is a rigorous program designed to impart the skills and proficiency to teach S Factor movement and philosophy to others at a foundational level. This is a powerful and nuanced skill that requires dedicated study and practice. All trainees should expect an ongoing time commitment outside of our live weekend trainings, in order to participate fully and meet the requirements to pass:
- Pre-training study and movement: once enrolled, you’ll get access to video lectures and guided movement
- Homework assignments during the week between training weekends, and during training weekends
- Daily movement practice expectations: in order to teach, you must hone your own capacity as a student, and you’ll be invited into your individual dances in weekend 3 or 4
- Teaching practice for final assessment: trainees will spend time outside of the program preparing for the final assessment
S Factor teachers form a close-knit, heart-centered community. We believe in integrity, vulnerability and leading with love. You may take teacher training to become an S Factor Licensed Teacher in your community and online, while also deepening your own practice. This program is designed to train you how to teach effectively and compassionately.

- Learn Core S Factor Philosophy from Sheila Kelley and Veteran S Factor Teacher Trainers
- Get a Practical, Experiential Education in the Foundational S Factor Movement Curriculum with Veteran S Factor Teacher Trainers, learning the breakdowns of each movement and movement sequencing
- Journey through a live training version of S Factor’s Foundational 8-Class Series to become a proficient student and knowledgable teacher
- Bonus: **Optional** hour of pole training at the end of each movement class for those who are interested.
- Access the S Factor comprehensive Training Manual that covers class formats, movement breakdowns, and sequences.
Requirements and Certification
- Although there are no prerequisites to join S Factor Foundational Teacher Training, experience with the movement and philosophy is a plus. Pre-training videos will be provided before your first weekend, and are required.
- Live virtual attendance is mandatory. You may miss a maximum of two (2) days attendance in order to pass the program. Recordings for missed time will not be provided.
- Certificate of Completion will be granted through successful completion of both a physical test and a video demonstration of the material.
- A pole is optional for this training (not required). We do teach a handful of basic tricks but the breakdowns to teach them can be learned without a pole.
- Materials required to attend are a laptop, plus a phone or second device to play music. We strongly encourage everyone to have a Spotify account.
- We’ll offer some Business Best Practices and suggestions for starting and managing your own S Factor business
Important FAQs
- Only students who graduate from the Foundational program will be eligible to join future Trainings, including our Intermediate and Advanced Teacher Trainings (each offered once per year), plus opportunities to teach special events and programs.
- Students who graduate from this 2026 training will be eligible to enroll in our very special Teacher Retreat with Sheila Kelley in Palm Springs, California, in August 2026.
- You must become certified and licensed through this program in order to teach S Factor.
- Licensed Teachers may teach anywhere in the world, plus online, under the S Factor brand and have access to special programs and teaching events as they become available.

- After passing the Foundation Training program, the cost to teach S Factor as a Licensed Teacher is $250 annually (licensing fee).
